Finding a satisfying brunch buffet in Orange County, California has always been a challenge for me. I’ve explored numerous options and consistently ended up disappointed. However, I have fantastic news to share: Habana has recently opened its newest location at The Irvine Spectrum. This establishment offers a luxurious brunch buffet with a menu inspired by Cuban cuisine. Stepping into the restaurant, you’ll be greeted by a bright and airy space with a delightful romantic ambiance. As you settle down, your eyes will be drawn to the incredible brunch bar, featuring an array of delectable dishes available for your indulgence.

The buffet spread is truly impressive, featuring a full pastry area that includes options for those seeking healthier choices like gluten-free treats. You’ll also find a granola bar, Cuban-inspired meats and side dishes, a made-to-order omelette station, crispy bacon, heavenly french toast with whipped butter cream, a salmon lox bagel bar, a charcuterie selection, and so much more. For those seeking a little extra indulgence, they even offer fresh coconuts that can be enhanced with a splash of rum. After all, what is brunch without a touch of alcohol? I made sure to sample a bit of everything they had to offer, eager to savor each tantalizing flavor.

Allow me to share some of my personal recommendations:

  • Custom-made omelette with the exquisite red sauce (truly irresistible).
  • Bacon, and plenty of it!
  • The sliced Cuban-inspired meats.
  • Passion Fruit Pastry.
  • Coffee mug-shaped dessert (a chocolate cup filled with chocolate sea salt mousse, topped with cream).
  • Shrimp cocktail and crab legs.

The vibrant atmosphere and overall ambiance will transport you to a warm and delightful morning in Cuba. Brunch A La Habana at Habana Irvine is an experience you absolutely shouldn’t miss.
