Starting the New 2016 Year with a Fitness Plan

01/04/2016 Hi Guys! I know I have been gone for a long long time. I actually decided to stop blogging in 2015, but with the new 2016 year coming up, I really wanted to start back at it. This time blogging more as a diary to record progress and memories this new year has to hold. First matter of business, New Year Resolutions! Yeah, yeah, they usually all fail. We’ve all been and done that before. But the key to succeeding in your goals is to create a plan and making sure you stick with it no matter what. This…

The Cliff Restaurant & Laguna Beach

The Cliff Restaurant 577 South Coast Highway, in Laguna Village, Laguna Beach, California Phone: (949) 494-1956 Laguna beach is one of my favorite places to be. Places like Huntington or Seal Beach are so dull and dirty looking. Where as Laguna actually has pretty clear water with really nice scenic views. The highway PCH long the side give a nice drive and view. I absolutely love how if you drive a little farther down past newport towards laguna, there are far less people on the beach. We were practically on the beach alone. Which is how I like it. Quiet…

Fig & Olive on Melrose Place

Fig & Olive 8490 Melrose Place West Hollywood, CA 90069 310-360-9100 Let me start off with the ambiance of this place. I went during lunch with a friend on a Saturday. The atmosphere was light and airy. The restaurant was nicely lit from the natural sunlight outside and there were lots of well dressed people. To me it seemed like a good place for a nice date with a significant other, or a fun gossip brunch place with your girls. The staff are incredibly friendly and the service itself was great. We sat down and were given some bread with…

Meal Prep Log

I know, its already March but losing all the extra weight from the Holiday Season was really quite difficult. They say looking good is 80% of your diet and only 20% exercise. Here are some twists of recipes that I used for a unique and delicious meal prep. A whole weeks worth of meal prep. Some people can eat the same thing everyday, but I’m one of those people that CANNOT eat the exact same thing over and over. To avoid that, I incorporated different recipes and cooking styles. For the “main course” I did a mix of Lemon Pepper Chicken…

Los Angeles Flower District : Peonies

Stopped by the Los Angeles Original Flower District on 754 Wall Street, Los Angeles, CA 90014. As all of LA, you must find parking on the street. Afterwards it is a $2 general admission to get into the district. This entitles you to everywhere on the district for the whole day! It took me a while to find these drop dead gorgeous peonies since they are out of season, but hurrah! I have found them at last! The Los Angeles Original Flower District has such a beautiful and diverse selection of any type of floral or plant you might need. The flowers…

Sweet tastes of Warm Fall

Hey guys! It’s been so hot lately in California… but it is technically fall and I can’t start to explain how much I LOVE fall fashion! Keep up the fall fashion trends by wearing a long cardigan (Forever21). I kept my dress short so that I didn’t sweat from all this heat. Topped it off with a big black floppy Urban Outfitters hat to keep the sun out of my face, and wore a Royal Blue Zara purse for a pop of color! I accessorized with a Kukui Nut Necklace that I had bought from Waikiki, Hawaii to finish off this look.…

Go NUDE or go home: Nude Summer 2014 Pool Party

Had the privilege of attending NUDE SUMMER PARTY 2014 up in Palos Verdes, California. It was a fun way to kick off this breezy California summer. With floaty swans and cute boards to take pictures with. For a summer pool party like this, I didn’t want to burn too much in the sun. So I layered on a crochet see through crop top. Keeping the colors of summer in effect, I paired it with a hot pink bikini top from Victoria’s Secret and ultra cute black strappy swim bottoms from Free People by Mara Hoffman! Lastly nothing better than strap…

Boiling Crab Leftovers? Boiling Crab Cream Pasta!

One of my favorite foods is The Boiling Crab. I just can’t ever get enough of it. To the point I like to over order a little so I can take it home with me. I usually order the 1 pound of shrimp Triple-XXX spicy Cajun style. After I’m done with my meal the bag still has a lot of sauce left over with some shrimp so I take it to-go to make other recipes with it. You can do a lot with the leftover boiling crab sauce. I’ve mixed it into fried rice and even poured it over chicken…
