Sweet tastes of Warm Fall

Hey guys! It’s been so hot lately in California… but it is technically fall and I can’t start to explain how much I LOVE fall fashion! Keep up the fall fashion trends by wearing a long cardigan (Forever21). I kept my dress short so that I didn’t sweat from all this heat. Topped it off with a big black floppy Urban Outfitters hat to keep the sun out of my face, and wore a Royal Blue Zara purse for a pop of color! Boiling Crab Leftovers? Boiling Crab Cream Pasta!

One of my favorite foods is The Boiling Crab. I just can’t ever get enough of it. To the point I like to over order a little so I can take it home with me. I usually order the 1 pound of shrimp Triple-XXX spicy Cajun style. After I’m done with my meal the bag still has a lot of sauce left over with some shrimp so I take it to-go to make other recipes with it. You can do a lot with the leftover boiling crab sauce. $1 oysters?! Um, YES!

EMC Seafood and Raw Bar in Korea Town, Los Angeles. Happy hour is 4-7pm daily, and they have $1 eastern oysters! We ordered a dozen oysters and then ordered a dozen more after they quickly disappeared. Their Uni Pasta was delectable, an even balance of flavors in a creamy fresh uni sauce.

Brunch at Rialto Cafe

  Took a stop by downtown Fullerton and had brunch at a nice cafe called “Rialto”.  One advise is to come early! The place was awfully small so there was a wait by the time we arrived, 11AM. We had to wait almost an hour just to eat and by the time we were seated, they had run out of potatoes. (It was a side that this particular cafe is known for.)
