Mr. Holmes Bakehouse Grand Opening in Larchmont Village

Mr. Holmes Bakehouse is a one of a kind bakery with a sweet selection of baked goods. While they have a couple locations open around in California, they finally opened up a new one in Larchmont Village! (248 N Larchmont Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90004) Had a great time trying out pastries such as Green Tea Matcha Croissants, Strawberry Jelly Jam Croissants, Savory Danish’s with Bacon, and so much more. What I liked most about their pastries was that they wasn’t too sweet even though they had a lot of other sweet ingredients (such as the matcha, jam, chocolate, etc.) that were integrated. The pastries were light and crispy and most importantly I could tell they were extremely fresh. Next time you’re in town, I recommend that you stop by Mr. Holmes for a box!

We had to wait almost an hour just to eat and by the time we were seated, they had run out of potatoes. (It was a side that this particular cafe is known for.) One great thing about this place is that they only use fresh ingredients and particular cooking methods. We indulged on the Eggs Benedict, The Wilshire Omelet, and the…
